The Chatham Community Players will host its 29th annual Jersey Voices One-Act Festival with five performances between July 28th and August 6th. This year’s production will include seven original short plays written by New Jersey playwrights exploring themes of our relationships with our family, our past selves, reality, and the world around us.
I will step into the role of Susan in Snow Globe written by Blaire Deziel, and directed by Julia Frieri Cassisi.
The complete list of original works includes:
Pigeon + Duck by Amanda Sage Comerford, Snow Globe by Blaire Deziel, Three Items at a Time by Scout Graham, Catch 23 by Gabrielle Wagner Mann, Water Bar by Tracie E. Morrison, The Dating Pool by Arianna Rose, Come Fly with Me by Loretta Bolger Wish.
The Chatham Playhouse has provided a venue for Jersey Voices and its NJ playwrights to showcase their work since 1995. “There’s a risk in seeing any author’s new work, whether you’ve heard of them before or not. It’s brave and courageous, and we’re grateful our audience trusts us enough to share the experience. Jersey Voices has presented the work of more than 90 authors in their 29 years.”
Performances will be held at the Chatham Playhouse on:
FRI, JUL 28 - 8:00 pm
SAT, JUL 29 - 8:00 pm
FRI, AUG 4 - 8:00 pm
SAT, AUG 5 - 8:00 pm
