PSEUDEA takes all at The Silver Fox Awards

“PSEUDEA,” the senior capstone film of college seniors Chelsea Columbus, Ethelle O’Mara, Samantha Doria, Tyler McGuigan, and Ani Stein, swept the stage at The Silver Fox Awards on Saturday, May 7th at The Nelly Golettti Theatre.

“PSEUDEA” (the 11-minute version) took home the recognition for “Best Narrative” as well as The Audience Choice Award. My performance in the film earned a nomination for Best Actress alongside my fellow actors, Ronelle Pearson and Jack Schrader who was awarded Best Actress and Best Actor.

I had the absolute pleasure of being creatively charged by this team, having been led by director, Ani Stein when taking on the role of Dylan. The script’s writing, compliments of Chelsea Columbus and Ethelle O’Mara, made my job as an actor that much more fun and freeing.

Logline of the film:

Unemployed and desperate for an income, Marty gets a job at MIMIC - a company the wealthy can hire to have someone impersonate them for whatever event or reason. When Marty is assigned to impersonate Elliot for his sixth-month anniversary date with his girlfriend, Dylan, she finds an emotional connection that she never thought she’d find.
