The hilarious and independent short film, “The Really Rude Stinkbug,” under the direction of Jackie Fiorillo, is an official selection of 6 film festivals within the 2021-2022 season and counting. The film has received recognition as the “Best LGBTQ Short” at the Medusa Film Festival’s 12th Season. Additionally, the film has been awarded “Best LGBTQ Film,” “Best Comedy,” “Best Original Story,” and received an Honorable Mention for “First Time Director” in The Top Shorts May 2022 Festival!

Logline:

Meticulous Leena, (Brooke Harrsch) and her eccentric girlfriend Coco have relationship issues as it is, however, once Leena saves a stink bug’s life and he becomes a human-sized bug insistent on living with them, their relationship is really put to the test.

This film was based on a short play by Alex Hille, which Jackie Firiollo adapted for the screen.
