This experience was unique, challenging, and yet exciting. In just 48 hours, digital collaboration took place between playwrights and actors. The monologues were not pre-written, they were written for the playwrights’ assigned actors. In this case, the actor was the muse. Each playwright wrote one monologue for each of their three actors, in 24 hours, with each piece taking place before, during, or after quarantine. For the actors, we were given 24 hours to memorize, record, and upload.
I am extremely grateful to have been given this opportunity especially in a time like this. Special thanks to Sharece, and Lianna for letting me get creative, let go and have fun!
