The votes have been counted…
As a result of The DeSales University Film Festival (DUFF), a live-streamed Facebook event, on Saturday, April 18th, the short film, “Burn”, directed and produced by Sophie Goad, received the Audience Choice Award!
The Audience Choice Award was selected by viewers who cast their vote for their favorite film via a digital survey created by the DUFF committee. Those films awarded First Place and Runner-up were decided upon by a jury of DeSales University Alumni. The results were announced on the DeSales University Film Festival Facebook page on Sunday, April 19th at 1:00 pm EST.
The short film “Burn“ starred actresses Brooke Harrsch and Caitlin Hughes.
In December of 2019, “Burn” tied for 1st Place in receiving the “Best Film Award” in the DeSales University 48hr Film Challenge. Additionally, “Burn” was an official selection for the 2020 Greater Lehigh Valley Film Festival.
